Education

After graduating high school I began attending Motlow State community College where I worked to complete basic classes for the elementary education field. Upon completion of two years a Motlow, I then transferred to Athens State University where I earned my bachelors degree in elementary education.

Experience

I have been teaching for nine years, and have taught third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. The first two years I taught, I taught at Madison Cross Roads in Madison County. While employed there, I taught third and fourth grades self contained. I also taught one year in Madison County at New Market School teaching 6th grade math, science, and reading. For the past five years I have been teaching here at Fayetteville Middle School. I have taught in both the fifth and sixth grades self contained, and departmentalized teaching reading and science.

Bio

I was raised in the Lincoln community of Lincoln County by my parents Ronnie and Pat Hall. I have one older sister. I grew up living beside my grandparents Shirley and Willie Sue Bain on a small farm. While growing up on our farm I learned to love doing all types of outdoor  activities that include hunting, fishing, gardening, and every day yard work. I also grew up loving to play all types of sports and participate in many physical activities. I played baseball from when I was 5 until high school, I played basketball, golf, ran track in high school, and always have enjoyed  riding bikes. Most anything that had physical activity or involved the outdoors I was into or was at least willing to try it out. The most important part of my raising though, is the fact that my parents raised me in church and I accepted Jesus into my life at the age of 8 years old. Without him in my life, I would be nothing.

After graduating high school, I went to Motlow State Community College where I met my lovely wife Laura. We dated two years while in college and then got engaged. Finally, when we had both graduated, we got married in 2007. We have two wonderful children together. Our oldest, Lillian, has just turned six, and our youngest, Brent, is almost four. We enjoy life together living in the Smithland Community near Kelso. We attend Prospect Baptist Church, love the Lord, and do our best to raise our children for him and be a good witness to others.
